What do the exceptions mean when I upload a file?

 

An exception means the Instant system wasn’t quite sure how to handle a payment in your uploaded file, so we need you to have a second look. Typical exceptions include:

  1. An employee doesn’t have a card to pay
  2. A duplicate payment is detected
  3. We couldn’t find an Instant account to match a payment to (Unmapped Payment).

Review each exception to determine what action to take.
