Make the most of your Instant Card with these 7 helpful tips
Your Instant Card is your gateway to fee-free access to your hard-earned page. With the Instant Card, you’ll always have a no-fee way to access your money, and your earnings are instantly available to you as soon as they’re loaded to your Instant account.
There are a number of ways you can make the most of using your Instant Card. Here are seven more things you should know:
1. Save your earnings in your Instant account and use it whenever you’d like.
Think of it like a bank account: see your money build up and save for when you need it most. Your Instant card works just like a regular bank card and because you’re only using money you’ve earned there’s never any debt. You can check your balance anytime on the Instant Financial app.
2. Spend with your Instant card anywhere credit is accepted—in-store, online, wherever.
Remember, you can use either the credit or debit option whenever you make a purchase. And making purchases with your Instant card is free of fees.
3. Withdraw cash from any MoneyPass ATM for free
You can access any of the ATMs in the networks listed, but it’s free when you withdraw on one of over 40,000 MoneyPass® ATMs nationwide. Use the ATM locator in the ‘More > Find an ATM’ screen on the Instant Financial app if you need help finding one near you.
4. We’ve made it easy for you to change your PIN.
Your initial PIN is placed under the Instant card in your card carrier, but you can call the number on the back of your card and get it changed to the PIN that works best for you. Learn more about how to set up or change your PIN here.
5. Here’s what you do if your card gets lost or stolen.
If you lose your card or it gets stolen, you can freeze it so it cannot be used until you unfreeze it or get a new card. From the dashboard, simply visit Card Options > Lock your card. This will immediately and temporarily disable your card. If you find your card or get a new one from your employer, you can easily unfreeze your card under the ‘Settings’ tab.
6. Check that your billing address is correct in the Instant Financial app.
This address is associated with your card. So if it’s incorrect, online purchases may not be able to go through.
7. You can take your Instant Card mobile
You can add your Instant Card to the mobile wallet on your Apple or Android device, simply by following the instructions on your device. Then you can pay for anything you need using the contactless functionality of your mobile phone.
