Can you explain the details of a Real Time Bank Transfer (RTBT)?

Real Time Bank Transfers should arrive in your account within 30 minutes.

How long will the bank transfer take? 

Once you have put through your real-time transfer it should take seconds to arrive in your bank account! The maximum amount of time it should take for a transfer to arrive in your bank account is 30 minutes.

Why do I need to use my debit card?

When you submit your debit card details to receive funds, your card will be authorized right there and then to ensure that the card is capable of receiving  real time transfers.

Is it possible to use my credit card details? 

It is not possible to use your credit card to receive funds. Real-time bank transfers work with debit cards.

Is it possible to cancel my transfer? 

No, once a transfer is sent it can’t be reversed. If your transfer is still in a “pending” state, please contact the number here: 

How much can I transfer? 

You can transfer $999.99 per day. You will need to wait 24 hours before attempting another real-time transfer.

How often can I transfer? 

You can transfer $999.99 every 24 hours

How much does it cost? 

Real time transfers have a small fee per transaction which you can confirm when sending a transfer from the Instant app. Real-time transfers have some network fees associated that we need to cover. The fee is debited from your account as you make the transfer.

What will it look like if my real-time bank transfer fails? 

If a real-time bank transfer fails you will receive an in-app transfer failure message:

What do I do if my transfer fails after receiving successful transfers before ? 

 Don’t worry, it could be either of these reasons: 

  • Your debit card may need to be renewed with us
    • Just try re-adding your card 
  • Your debit card may be expired 
    • Add your new debit card to your account.
