The Settlement Report

This article will detail how to read and use the Settlement report* in the Back Office.

This report is used to see transaction debit and credit totals from your Instant Float account by settlement date.

Some clients use the Settlement report to balance their internal reporting when it comes to tips.  Essentially making sure the tips paid out in Instant match what was reported by their managers at the location.

Note: The Settlement report data is reflected the day after a transaction is processed and only on bank business days. For transactions processed on the weekends or bank holidays they are settled the next business day.

 

*If you do not have access to view this Report in the Instant Back Office, it may be because of the admin role assigned to you. To request access, you can communicate with your organization's Instant Sponsor or Operations coordinator. If they agree that you should have access, they will be able to update your role.
