General Payments allow you to send funds other than payroll or tips to your employees' Instant accounts in real time.
General Payments can be made through office.instant.co.
You can use this service to facilitate payments such as:
- Bonuses/Incentives
- Expense reimbursements
- Delivery compensation to drivers (separately from tips)
This feature does not come as standard with all setups. If you do not currently have the General Payments feature and would like to add this functionality, please reach out to mgrsupport@instant.co and a member of our team will help you with setting this up.
Please note: All General Payments must be funded via a Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement to the respective float account.
